PORTABLE SPOT WELDING GUNS

Portable gun welders are designed for the purpose of taking the welder to the work rather than the work to the welder. Work too big and cumbersome for welding on rocker arm or press type welders can be easily and successfully welded with modern portable gun welders. If your parts require two people to maneuver them through a stationary welder, you need a Gun Type Welder!

Cable Gun CABLE GUNS:

In cable gun installations the transformer and weld control are remote from the gun. The gun is relatively small and can reach into tight locations. Cable guns are used in the automotive industry and are excellent for use where there is limited movement.

Trans-Gun TRANSGUNS:

In transgun installations the transformer is part of the gun and the weld control is remote. No secondary cable is required, only small diameter primary cables are necessary. Electrical consumption is reduced and the gun is cost efficient. This arrangement also allows greater freedom of movement for the operator.

Integral Gun INTEGRAL GUNS:

The integral gun has both the transformer and weld control as a part of the gun. This results in easier operation, as all components are in the operator’s hands. It allows easy change over from job to job. The integral design results in low installation costs. The newest guns offer digital 2 weld schedule full function controls. (Optional 36 Schedules)
